Central enterprise (央企, yangqi)

State-owned enterprise supervised directly by SASAC (State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission). In China, central enterprises are the designated first deployers in state plans, such as the 2026 MIIT-SASAC directive on humanoids. Not to be confused with provincial state-owned enterprises or domestic private companies.
