Deployment quota

A volume of units or use cases set by administrative directive, which the designated players (provinces, state-owned enterprises) must reach within an imposed timetable. Different from a market forecast: the quota is a binding commitment accompanied by delivery dates and mandatory categories. A typical instrument of Chinese industrial policy (e.g. directive 工信厅联科函〔2026〕256号: 10,000 humanoids before the end of 2026).
