Fallback system
Contractually agreed residual human intervention when the robot's autonomy falls short.
A mechanism provided for contractually or operationally to switch over to human intervention when the robot reaches the limit of its autonomy. Distinct from permanent teleoperation: the fallback is the budgeted exception, not the rule. Measurable as a residual fraction (e.g. 5% then 0.5%) in industrial deployment contracts.
