Standardised test framework for assessing a robot's capabilities in a neutral and comparable way.
Standardised set of tests drawn up by a neutral third party (e.g. NIST), making it possible to measure and objectively compare the capabilities of a robotics platform — locomotion, dexterity, autonomy — against criteria defined outside any manufacturer conflict of interest.
