Data Factory (Usine à données)
Infrastructure dedicated to the large-scale production of training data for robots, whether physical (a human motion capture centre) or software-based (a synthetic generation pipeline using simulation). The term gained currency with NVIDIA's Physical AI Data Factory Blueprint (March 2026) and the TUM RoboGym. It signals a paradigm shift: data is no longer a by-product of deployment, it is manufactured deliberately. EN: data factory, training data factory.
