Autonomous navigation
A robot's ability to plan and execute its own trajectories without real-time human intervention, as opposed to teleoperation. In humanoid competition (e.g. the Beijing 2026 marathon), the autonomous/remote-controlled distinction determines the official ranking via a penalty coefficient. EN: «high>ªautonomous navigation».
