Motion capture (mocap)

A technique for recording the movements of a human body (or an object) using inertial, optical or mechanical sensors, in order to produce trajectory and pose data. Used to generate real-world physical training data: a human trainer performs gestures that are captured and then used to train the robot by imitation. Example systems: Xsens (Hexagon), MANUS gloves.
